The Resolution Urging Law Department to Seek Recovery Cost. (The Legislative Policy Division (LPD) has been requested by Council Member Angela Whitfield-Calloway to draft a resolution urging the Law Department to seek recovery of costs and attorney fees in the pending bankruptcy court matter concerning the Leland House apartments. Transfer of Multiple Parcels to Detroit Housing Commission - For Receive and File. (On January 26, 2006, this Honorable Body authorized the transfer and conveyance by the City of Detroit to the Detroit Housing Commission title to certain public housing properties subsidized with federal funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Resolution included a list of properties to be conveyed and authorized that in the event that the Detroit Housing Commission should discover any public housing properties subsidized by federal funds were omitted inadvertently from the list of properties, the authorization for transfer and conveyance of title should be construed as to extend to such properties, provided that the City Council is first provided notice of such omitted properties. The Commission has discovered that certain public housing properties located in the Woodbridge Estates Development and subsidized by federal funds were omitted inadvertently from the list of properties included in the Resolution and have not been transferred.)
