Settlement in lawsuit of Andre Ratcliff v City of Detroit et al; Case No. 19-13458, File No. L19-00893 (CBO) A37000, (Your Honorable Body adopted a resolution to settle and make payment in the above captioned lawsuit. The settlement proceeds have not yet been paid to Andre Ratcliff and his attorney, Christopher Trainor & Associates, because a review found that the Resolution listed the wrong firm. Specifically, the Resolution listed Cohen, Lerner & Ravinovitz as the law firm instead of Christopher Trainor & Associates. We therefore, recommend that the Resolution be rescinded and request that a new resolution be adopted authorizing settlement in the amount of ONE HUNDRED NINETY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($195,000.00) payable to Andre Ratcliff and his attorney, Christopher Trainor & Associates, with Case Number 19-13458.)
